We are members of the federation of folkloristic groups of Holland which means we dance in the authentic costumes of our area. We are therefore an original folkloristic dance group.

“De Schermer dansers” are specialized to be able to entertain foreign guests with their dances. If you are looking for a colourful show with all the authenticity of Holland in days gone by, we would be more than happy to accommodate you.

We have our own orchestra which consists of a violin, accordions and a contrabass; we take care of our own presentation during the performance either in Dutch, German, French or English.

We have had the privilege to visit many countries in the world, e.g. Belgium, China, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, India, Japan, Luxemburg, Puerto Rica, South Africa, Turkey, United Arabic Emirate and the United States of America. Enabling us to show others the heritage of our forefathers of which we are very proud.
